Meeting climate change mitigation goals will require reductions in electricity sector carbon emissions through the deployment of low-carbon electricity generation technologies, expanded transmission, modernized infrastructure and enhanced energy efficiency. The CCPP’s research is designed to address the key barriers in deploying new infrastructure and technology to achieve a low-carbon electricity system.
