EnList
Environmental Leaders Investing in Solutions Together (EnLIST) is a small group of community leaders who are joining together with each other and the Nicholas Institute in a multi-year conversation about the critical environmental policy issues, decisions, and impacts we confront—in real time. Members contribute ideas, expertise, and financial resources to help advance the Nicholas Institute’s mission, and have meaningful opportunities to learn about and contribute to Duke’s campus-wide priorities in energy, environment, and sustainability.
Together, the members of EnLIST explore issues such as:
- The objectives, costs, options, and opportunities involved in transitioning to a low-carbon economy
- Cross-sector approaches to managing oceans ecosystems for conservation, economic activity, and sustainable use
- The role of water management in social adaptation to climate change
