5th Annual International Ecosystem Services Partnership Conference

During the conference, Linwood Pendleton and Lydia Olander of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions will participate in two working group sessions:

The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity for the Ocean
Pendleton and Olander will be among the experts working to co-develop an Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) study for oceans.

Responding to the PCAST Report on Sustaining Environmental Capital
This working group, which Olander will participate in, will develop a paper outlining key issues that need to be addressed on biodiversity and ecosystem services trends assessment, developed in response to the President's Council of Advisors on the Science and Technology (PCAST) July 2011 report.
