The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, 25x25, and the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture are sponsoring a forum on the Costs and Benefits of Climate and Energy Policy for Agriculture and Forestry. This forum will provide a balanced review of the latest research and analysis on the potential economic effects of climate and energy policy on forestry and agriculture, as well as a review of examples of projects and other opportunities likely encouraged by climate and energy policy, including information and resources on how to take advantage of emerging markets. Most importantly, this event will provide a venue for open, candid discussion among scientists, practitioners, and representatives from key agriculture and forestry stakeholder organizations on what impact climate and energy policy is expected to have for the agriculture and forestry sectors.
