Students, faculty, and staff are invited to a panel of the attorneys who negotiated the Falls Lake "consensus principles" to guide the state’s development of rules to reduce nitrogen & phosphorus into Falls Lake last year.  Karen Sindelar & Steve Levitas represented the City of Durham, Jim Wrenn & Glenn Dunn represented Granville County and the South Granville Water & Sewer Authority, and Dan McLawhorn represented the City of Raleigh. Their successful collaboration may increase collaboration in addressing other regional environmental challenges.

The Falls Lake rules become effective on 1/15.
