Workshop Objectives: (1) identify the policy community’s needs and priorities for assistance from modelers to improve understanding of the benefits, costs, and coeffects of mitigation options; (2) assess the feasibility of large-scale deployment of biofuels in the U.S. and Canada, and (3) assess the potential for reducing deforestation in the tropics and North America as a climate mitigation option.
