Mitigation Policy Forum
This forum is an update on NC mitigation policy. The 2011 General Assembly enacted and Governor Perdue signed SL 2011-343/SB 425, EEP Changes, sponsored by Senator Neal Hunt and others (www.ncleg.net). Michael Ellison, Deputy Director of EEP, will provide a briefing on the new law and other changes underway at EEP.

The Nicholas Institute will provide a short presentation on Oregon’s efforts to integrate its various ecosystem services and conservation programs. In this forum, we will also have a discussion to identify interests, concerns, ideas, and alternatives related to effective implementation of SL 2011-343 and EEP’s fee structure.
