Greater focus will be placed on linkages between international programs and what they can accomplish together. And, more companies will be taking actions to voluntarily reduce the impact of their emissions or to prepare for compliance.
Even in the absence of federal action, there is significant movement on state, regional and corporate levels, and these topics will be covered in depth at Navigating the American Carbon World (NACW) 2012. For the last nine years, NACW has been known as the most trusted and reliable event for getting updates and insights into climate policy and carbon market information.
The conference is organized by Climate Action Reserve. The program is presented in partnership with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. Nicholas Institute Founding Director Tim Profeta and Institute Board Chair William Reilly will deliver the conference's keynote address, along with Gary Gero from Climate Action Reserve. Other Institute researchers will also participate during the event.
