Robert F. (Bobby) Kennedy Jr. and State Treasurer Janet Cowell will join business and environmental leaders from across North Carolina at a reception on Wednesday, August 24 at Rogers Alley to discuss best practices for promoting environmental sustainability and green finance.

Cowell has pushed for improved governance as manager of the State's pension fund, and Kennedy is one of the foremost advocates for the environment in the United States. As president of the Waterkeeper Alliance and vice chair of Riverkeeper, Kennedy helps lead the fight to restore and protect waterways across the globe. At the event, he will provide a national perspective on environmental advocacy.
