The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions will host a talk by Stan Riggs of East Carolina University. Riggs recently co-authored the book "The Battle for North Carolina's Coast: Evolutionary History, Present Crisis and the Vision for the Future." The book discusses the importance of understanding and protecting North Carolina's changing coastline. His lecture at Duke will be focused on this topic.
