Liquid Gold Symposium: A Discussion about Water Markets

Staff from the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions will participate in the Environmental Markets Student Group's spring symposium April 1. The symposium seeks to foster a dialogue on existing and emerging water markets through three dynamic panel discussions. Panels will focus on water quality and quantity markets, highlighting issues surrounding water rights and policy in both domestic and international contexts.

Panel participants from the Nicholas Institute include: 

  • Brian Murray, director for economic analysis;
  • Lydia Olander, director for ecosystem services; 
  • Bill Holman, director of state policy; and
  • Ryan Bartlett, water policy associate.
