DURHAM, N.C. – A four-member committee has been appointed to lead the search for the next director of water policy at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions.

Chaired by Lydia Olander, director of the ecosystem services program at the Nicholas Institute, the search committee will screen and interview candidates with the goal of having a new director named in 2012. The group is seeking a successor to the program’s founding director Peter McCornick, who left Duke University Aug. 31 to work as principle researcher and director for Asia at the International Water Management Institute.

Applications for the director opening are currently being accepted through Nov. 30. For details on the job listings as well as the qualifications and experience being sought, please visit http://www.nicholasinstitute.duke.edu/director-water-policy.
