David Gordon
David Gordon joined the Institute’s economics team in August 2011. Currently David works on projects encompassing ecosystem markets, water infrastructure financing, and blue carbon. David’s previous work with the institute includes an analysis of nutrient trading in the Falls Lake, NC, watershed. Before arriving at the Institute, David studied at Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment where he received a Master’s in Environmental Management with a concentration in environmental economics and policy. At the Nicholas School, David researched water privatization, water markets, and next-generation environmental management for business. His master’s project was a study of the privatization of drinking water facilities in the United States.
