Darmawan Prasodjo's Bio and Research
Darmawan Prasodjo joined the Climate Change Policy Partnership as an Associate in Research in September, 2009. Before joining the CCPP, he was a lead GIS developer for the Texas Communities Planning Atlas project at Texas A&M University. Darmawan is a PhD candidate in Agriculture Economics from Texas A&M University with a research emphasis on climate change's economic impact through forest invasive species utilizing optimization modeling. He holds a Masters and a Bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in operation research from Texas A&M University. His computing consulting career has spanned more than five years, utilizing various platforms including java, C++, web-based GIS for clients such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, World Bank Project, and Texas A&M University. He is an avid programmer and GIS developer. His work with the CCPP will be focused on the national CO2 pipeline network and the transportation model.
