Dr. Brian Murray is the interim director of the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability at Duke University, an organization created by the merger of the Duke University Energy Initiative and Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. Before the merger, Murray directed the Energy Initiative and previously served for eleven years as director of the environmental economics program at the Nicholas Institute.
