Duke Center for Sustainability & Commerce Fellowship
Each spring, the Duke Center for Sustainability & Commerce at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions accepts applications and conducts interviews with exceptional Duke graduate students interested in a fellowship. Fellows are tasked with sustainability research projects and take on leadership roles that include coordinating our student led Innovations Awards Program and Thought Leader Seminar Series.
Nicholas School of the Environment Assistantship Program
First year students at the Nicholas School of the Environment have the chance to work with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions through the school's assistantship program. Contact the enrollment office or visit the Nicholas School's website to learn more.
Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions Assistantship Program
New for the 2011-12 academic year, the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions is offering a year-long assistantship program. Twelve positions, encompassing everything from coastal management to climate change adaptation, were available to students from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, Sanford School of Public Policy, Pratt School of Engineering, Nicholas School of the Environment and Duke Law School during this first year.

Nicholas Institute Graduate Liaison Program
