The Role of the Private Water Industry in Providing Water Infrastructure

The State Water Infrastructure Commission and UNC-Duke-WRRI are sponsoring a forum on “The Role of the Private Water Industry in Providing Water Infrastructure” 9:30 a.m. to noon June 3 at the Albert Coates Local Government Center, 215 N Dawson Street, Raleigh.

The forum is free and open to the public. Bill Holman, the Nicholas Institute’s director of state policy and the chairman of the State Water Infrastructure Commission, will provide opening remarks.

Michael Deane, executive director of the National Association of Water Companies; Gary Stainback, senior regional manager for United Water based in Clemmons; Thomas J. Roberts, president and COO of Aqua North Carolina; Carl Daniel, regional vice president for Utilities Inc.; and Nathan Leeman, vice president and director of operation & maintenance for CH2M Hill will provide a number of perspectives on the role of the private water industry and the services they provide.

Parking is available at the nearby Quorum Center across W Jones Street from the Coates Center.
