The second webinar in the Critical Mineral Collaboration Series focused on whether circularity represents a genuine pathway to a more equitable, resilient, and lower-risk critical mineral system. The webinar brought together leading voices on circular economy policy, recycling technology, industrial strategy, and South-South cooperation to explore what a truly circular critical mineral system would look like and what it would take for Global South countries to help build it.
The webinar series is organized by the Council for Critical Minerals Development in the Global South; SEforAll; the Global South Center for Clean Transportation at the University of California, Davis; and the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability at Duke University.
