Gernot Wagner, senior economist at the Environmental Defense Fund, will present a lecture titled "Climate Shock: The Economics of Extremes" at Duke on Feb. 28. The lecture will focus on Wagner's new book Climate Shock. The book, which he co-authored with Martin Weitzman, is forthcoming with Princeton University Press. In it, the two argue why to act on climate change, and explore what would happen if we don't.
