About
Join the OECD Washington Center, OECD Environment, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on June 22 for the launch of the OECD - U.S. Environmental Performance Review (EPR) 2023.
This is the first U.S. EPR since 2005, which will look at recent environmental trends in the U.S., with a specific focus on marine litter. The launch will feature remarks from Jane Nishida, assistant administrator for EPA's Office of International and Tribal Affairs, as well as a presentation from Jo Tyndall, director of the OECD Environment Directorate. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow.
John Virdin (Nicholas Institute) is among the experts speaking at the launch. Virdin will present findings from the EPR on marine litter in the U.S. and provide an overview of the government's response to date.
- Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with coffees and pastries provided. The event will start at 9:30 a.m. sharp. The OECD Washington Center is located at 1776 I (Eye) ST NW, and is accessible by both Farragut West and Farragut North metro stops (blue, silver, orange, and red lines).
