Current Duke students are invited to join a Power Lunch featuring Stephanie Hutchison, Diplomat in Residence for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Hutchison will discuss energy- and climate-related work and careers in the State Department, with Q&A to follow. Lunch will be provided.

Event capacity will be limited so that all attendees have the chance to introduce themselves, ask questions, and exchange ideas. Advance registration required. This Power Lunch is for current Duke students only.

Stephanie Hutchison is a distinguished diplomat with 17 years of service in the U.S. Foreign Service, specializing in economic affairs. Holding a bachelor's degree in international affairs and economics from Colby College and a masters degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, she made the transition from market research and environmental consulting to pursue a career representing her country. Ms. Hutchison served as the Economic Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, where she contributed to an improved business environment between the two countries. Hutchison also worked at U.S. embassies in Portugal and Morocco, where she focused on energy, climate and information technology.
