About

The Southeast Energy Insecurity Stakeholder Initiative is a project of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University, Appalachian Voices, and the North Carolina Justice Center. The purpose of the Initiative is to facilitate a broad, collaborative discussion among stakeholders to explore the opportunities for reducing energy insecurity in the Southeast.

Over the last few months, stakeholders have begun to identify areas of interest where subject matter expertise would be useful to ongoing working group discussions. This webinar will focus on innovative financing mechanisms such as green banks, inclusive on-bill financing programs, and Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs. Our experts will provide information on each of these mechanisms and examples of where they have been used in the past to improve energy security.
