About
The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions offers Policy Boot Camps to share our team's experience directly engaging with decision makers. Duke University students will have the opportunity to learn more about environmental policy making institutions—what they are, how they work, and how to engage them—through informal discussions with Nicholas Institute professionals.
In this virtual session, John Virdin, director of the Nicholas Institute's Ocean and Coastal Policy Program, will introduce participants to international institutions and discuss what they do and how they differ from each other. Institutions covered will include:
- The World Bank
- The International Monetary Fund
- The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
Policy Boot Camps are available for current Duke students only.
Note: Rescheduled from March 19.
