Duke Today highlights Tyler Ratcliffe and his journey of student leadership on campus—including becoming the first undergraduate co-chair of Energy Week at Duke and co-designing a house course on "Energy and Climate Venture Investing" with faculty advisor Brian Murray (Nicholas Institute director).

Three Nicholas Institute staff members—Bryan Koen, Luana Marangon Lima and Colleen Nieto—are part of a team that will receive a 2023–2024 Duke University Presidential Award, the university's highest staff and faculty honor.

Duke's student organizations are invited to apply by September 18 for Fall 2023 project/activity funding. The Nicholas Institute will award up to $1,000 for approved applications for specific club activities related to energy and sustainability during the Fall 2023 semester.
