Bill Rogers, CFA, CTP, is currently the managing partner, CCE Advisory, LLC, and CCE Investments LLC. CCE Advisory provides advisory services to private equity infrastructure funds on acquisitions, investments, generation resources, and regulatory climate; it also advises private equity and venture capital funds on energy transition investments and behind-the-meter, customer-centered strategies. CCE Investments is an early-stage investor for customer-centered energy technologies. Rogers has also advised the US Department of Energy on grants for hydrogen hubs.

Rogers’ professional career has included senior finance positions in regulated utilities in the energy, electric, gas and water industries. He is the former executive vice president and chief financial officer of CenterPoint Energy, vice president, finance and treasurer at the American Water Works Company, Inc., and the treasurer and then chief financial officer of NV Energy, Inc. In his investment banking career, he was a debt and equity capital markets officer at JPMorgan Chase and at Merrill Lynch.

Rogers is a US Army veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1982 to 1986 and the 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of Korea from 1986 to 1988. He is a master parachutist and an atomic demolition specialist.

He is currently the lead director on the board of Grupo Protexa (Monterey, Mexico), and on the board of Battalion Oil (NYSE, BATL), where he chairs both the audit and the nominating and governance committees. His previous board experience includes Enable Midstream and the West Point Association of Graduates (US Military Academy), where he chaired the audit committee for six years. He is a graduate of the US Military Academy and holds an M.B.A. from Duke University.
