The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, the Electric Power Research Institute, and the International Emissions Trading Association will co-sponsor an official side event at the climate talks in Paris on December 7.

The Paris agreement and domestic policies set the stage for decisions where nations and states decide whether to link with other jurisdictions. This event explores the value and challenges of bilateral and multilateral market mechanisms with new analyses, perspectives and lessons on implementation. Brian Murray, director of the Environmental Economics Program at the Nicholas Institute, will be among the panelists.
