Join the Nicholas Institute as we welcome our community back to Duke in style... which is to say, with barbecue (including vegetarian options) in the Gross Hall Energy Hub! We’re kicking off the school year AND a season of celebration for the Nicholas Institute’s 20th anniversary. Energy and environment professionals and students, faculty, and staff from all area universities are invited to attend. Just make sure to RSVP! Free parking provided in the Chemistry Lot (which will be open) or on the street (where parking is free after 5 p.m.).


P.S. Are you a student who's new to Duke (or to learning about energy at Duke)? You might also want to sign up for our Welcome to Energy & Environment at Duke info session at 5:30-6 p.m. in the Ahmadieh Family Auditorium (Gross Hall 107) to hear all about the opportunities that await you at the Nicholas Institute and other orgs within Duke's Office of Climate and Sustainability.
