At this event, there will be a panel discussion that includes the Duke scholars highlighted in the films. Panelists include Bill Chameides, dean of the Nicholas School of the Environment; Tim Profeta, director of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions; and Richard Newell, director of the Duke Energy Initiative.
An hors d'ouevres reception will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the screening and panel discussion at 6 p.m. Coffee and dessert will follow at 7:15 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. It is part of the Duke Energy Initiative's Fall 2012 Energy Speaker Series.
