Josh Wilson

Josh Wilson has overseen the management and development of all Nicholas Institute websites since 2017, making institute work easy to find, easy to use, and accessible to all. In partnership with expert staff, he has also developed searchable databases and tools, including the Southeast Power Sector Competitiveness Dashboard, the Nature-Based Solutions Roadmap, and the Plastics Policy Inventory.

Before joining the Nicholas Institute, Josh was the systems librarian for NC LIVE, North Carolina's state-wide library consortium, where he modernized the NC LIVE website and managed access and authentication systems. He has also held positions as systems integration librarian at the State Library of North Carolina and reference and instruction librarian at NC State University. He has earned a bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Montana, and a master's degree in information science from the University of Michigan.
