Junjie Zhang is the director of the Initiative for Sustainable Investment at Duke Kunshan University and a professor in the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. He was the founding director of Duke Kunshan’s international Master of Environmental Policy program and Environment Research Center. Before that, he was an associate professor of environmental economics at the University of California at San Diego. He was also a Volkswagen Visiting Chair in Sustainability in the Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University. His recent research focuses on climate change economics, green finance, and ESG.
