Lessons from the Proliferating Mini-grid Incentive Programs in Africa

Jonathan Phillips, Director of the Energy Access Project, and Victoria Plutshack, Energy Access Project Policy Associate, co-authored a new report with Benjamin Attia, Senior Research Analyst, Energy Transition Practice at Wood Mackenzie, "Lessons for Modernizing Energy Access Finance, Part 2 – Balancing Competition and Subsidy: Assessing Mini-Grid Incentive Programs in Sub-Saharan Africa" reviewing 20 mini-grid incentive programs in sub-Saharan Africa, 17 of which are still being implemented.
