About
From rocky coasts to inland rivers, small-scale fisheries offer livelihoods for millions of people and provide essential nutrients for billions, while contributing substantially to local and national economies globally. Despite their invaluable contributions, millions of metric tons of fish from small-scale fisheries are unreported.
To shed new light on this hidden harvest and to promote applied research to support the implementation of global instruments that promote sustainable fisheries, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Duke University will announce a new partnership.
Join this webinar to learn more about how this new partnership will build on scientific evidence to support the fisheries sector sustainably, and involve the next generation of scientists and policy experts.
