Senior Policy Associate, Ocean and Coastal Policy Program


Tibor Vegh serves as a Senior Policy Associate and is a collaborator on projects involving economic, financial, and policy analyses, as well as environmental planning around the topics of coastal and urban resilience, climate change adaptation, ecological restoration, ecosystem services, carbon markets, bioenergy, fisheries, blue carbon, marine litter and plastics pollution.

Tibor is a PhD candidate in environmental planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (expected 2023). He earned his master's degree in forestry with a focus on economics from Northern Arizona University in 2011 and his bachelor's degree at North Carolina State University in economics with a minor in mathematics in 2008.
