Communities across the United States are facing accelerating effects of climate change in the form of more frequent and intense extreme weather events and chronic, long-term effects. Released in September 2023, the first-ever National Climate Resilience Framework establishes a vision for a climate-resilient nation and guidance for resilience-related activities and investments by the federal government and its partners.
This webinar series, presented by the Resilience Roadmap project, brought together experts from the government, nonprofit, and private sectors to discuss elements of the framework and how to implement it. Sessions have been hosted by a variety of partners, including the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability at Duke University, the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment and the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Climate Adaptation Fund.
All sessions will be recorded and available for later viewing. Stay informed about upcoming sessions by subscribing to the Nicholas Institute's email list.
